Collins Foods HY24 results show booming business

Collins Foods has released its HY24 results, revealing strong growth across the group. Revenue from continuing operations rocketed up 14.3 per cent to $696.5 million (excluding Sizzler Asia). Revenue in the corresponding HY23 period was $609.4 million. Underlying EBITDA from continuing operations lifted 16.7 per cent to $109.9 million while the underlying NPAT from continuing operations rose 28.7 per cent to $31.2 million.

Australia begins crackdown on vaping, to ban import of single-use devices

Australia will ban imports of disposable vapes in January, the Health Minister said on Tuesday, the first step in a crackdown aimed at curbing the growing popularity of these nicotine-filled devices with young people.
