Retail Food Group’s full-year profit soars 22 per cent

Multibrand food chain franchisor Retail Food Group (RFG) reports underlying profit growth of 22.3 per cent for the full-year. The company owns and operates Gloria Jean’s, Crust Gourmet Pizza, Donut King, Brumby’s Bakery, Cafe2U Michel’s Patisserie, Pizza Capers and The Coffee Guy. For the year to June 30, underlying group EBITDA grew 21 per cent to $26 million while underlying tax-paid profit reached $22.6 million, up 22.3 per cent.

Domino’s Pizza to axe jobs as profits fall

Domino’s Pizza Enterprises is set to axe jobs after inflation dented its profit by 74 per cent in the year to June 30. Group revenue rose 3.4 per cent to $2.4 billion with total food sales up by a meagre 2.2 per cent, driven by higher menu prices. Scentre Group reports strong growth in first half

Kogan says it is set for a strong 2024, reports strong July profit

Trans-Tasman online retailer Kogan’s full-year profits declined due to soft trading conditions however, the business is off to a strong start in FY24. For the year to June 30, gross sales reached $844.8 million, down 28.4 per cent while statutory tax-paid profits fell to $25.9 million and EBITDA of $20.8 million.
