Burberry has unveiled its London flagship store, the first to feature the luxury brand’s new global design concept. Burberry Sloane Street’s design features the brand’s signature pattern and colours – beige, black, white and red – incorporated with a variety of textures including concrete, ceramics and high-gloss finishes.

The fixtures of the store such as its pillars, staircase, wall displays and mirrors bring a rigid and strict geometry to the space that is complemented by a panelled ceiling which was designed to mimic the brand's iconic check. Standard Architecture collaborated with the Paul Smith design team to reimagine the 4,740-square-foot (440 square metres) store on Melrose Avenue, West Hollywood. Long brass rails that appear to be suspended in midair are used to display suit jackets, which are carefully arranged by colour.
