Designed by Akin Atelier with surfboard designer Hayden Cox , the Gallery Shop is located in the entrance pavilion of the gallery that was recently completed by Pritzker Architecture Prize-winning studio SANAA. Stainless steel is used for display plinths, providing a contrast to the warm tones of the resin.

Following on from Billie Le Kid 's first store in Montreal, the brand brought in Vives St-Laurent to create a new outpost that captured the spirit of the brand while reflecting its location. Rounded corners were used to soften the edges of the display cabinets, adding character and creating a playful and welcoming atmosphere.

The boutique is rich with decorative features, which the pair says were informed by its location in Forte dei Marmi – a seaside town in northern Tuscany that's popular for its pristine beaches. We also had an opportunity to work on unprecedented balances and harmonious contrasts. A three-tiered shelf displays lifestyle items.
