Vietnam’s Vincom shifts focus from expansion to upgrades

Footfall was finally almost back to 2019 levels in the first quarter, with 47 million visitors. Total GFA is now 1.747 million sqm, up 6 per cent from a year ago, but vacancy across the portfolio outside of prime CBD locations remains a problem. More significantly, sales are now 27 per cent above the level of the first quarter in 2019.
