Postal facilities are in a double-height room on the ground floor, which is illuminated by a series of spherical pendant lights suspended from the ceiling. Located downtown, a few blocks from the White House, the boutique is lined with white-painted maple panels arranged to look like fabric pleats.

The exterior of the store is clad in a light plaster material and the walls feature decorative murals.

To achieve this, Nendo lined the entire facade – including the flush front door – in marble tiles, being careful to set them in line with the existing stonework on the building.
