Large windows bring in natural light, while sheer blinds protect the wine from excess heat. Wine is a delicate product, sensitive to both heat and light, so the illumination throughout the space had to not only set the tone for the experience, but work within certain confines so the product wasn’t damaged. “The gallery_holder}}.

A variety of materials create contrast between different departments – from the luminous marble suggesting freshness in the bakery, charcuterie, cheese and butchery areas — to the warm dark colors used in the wine cellar, wine bar and sushi bar. The lighting plan further contributes to defining each department and store zone.
