Crushed shells were used to form the bio-brick partitions at this store for a decor brand in Aqaba, Jordan , by architecture studio FADAA. This material is pressed into a mould to form the brick shapes, dried to harden, and finally assembled into the gridded screens. The bio-bricks are formed in moulds and feature hollow centres.

Located at 22 Bruton Street, the boutique is laid out across 190-square-metres and displays Maison Margiela's Co-Ed collections , with men's and women's ready-to-wear alongside accessories such as shoes, jewellery and eyewear. Gypsum partition walls separate the retail space. Indentations in the travertine were filled with white resin.

Design studio Snarkitecture incorporated tiled walls and arches into a club in the US capital that offers a barbershop, a coffee bar, a boutique and a speakeasy. In the retail zone, clothing by brands such as Engineered Garments and Homme Pliseé is displayed within arched, wooden niches. The speakeasy has a moody atmosphere.

Esprit’s new Black Label line features items at higher price points in contrast to the youthful pieces from its White Label range.
