Trinity, the Landsec retail and leisure destination in the heart of Leeds, has announced the opening of a new permanent shop for Sky, Europe’s leading media and entertainment company. Comprising 3,040 sq ft in total, the shop is Sky’s largest to date and the first in the region.

Architecture studio Sybarite have created a retail concept for the new Theory flagship store located on 101-113 Regent Street. This will be part of a ‘connected retail space’ with Uniqlo, also owned by Fast Retailing. Stone plinths at the base of rail displays complete the story with footwear and accessories.

The shop is divided by partition walls of different heights. A wall of reclaimed poplar planks acts as a focal point for the store. Accessed from the display space via two stone steps, the cabin, which is made from five different kinds of wood, accommodates store events and temporary exhibition projects.
