Royal Mint releases designs for new 50 pence coin featuring King Charles III

The Royal Mint has today unveiled the first coin to bear King Charles III’s portrait, a 50p coin due to enter circulation later this year. British sculptor Martin Jennings created King Charles III’s official coinage portrait, which was personally approved by the King.
