Linehouse creates greenhouse-informed food market in Shanghai

The same recycled red bricks sourced from demolished houses in China can also be found on the interior walls, stacked to create three dimensional patterns. The building is organised around three voids, which now form the basis of the store's circulation routes. A series of square windows let light into the space and offer views out across the city and toward the sky. To balance out the otherwise all-white interior, the VIP room is finished in a darker palette.

The concise and clean layers with dynamic lighting effects emerge from the lively streets as a pure and dazzling scenery of Myeongdong.
