Inspired by this, the award-winning, multi-disciplinary practice took on a contextual approach to the redesign centred around blurring the lines between indoor-outdoor living experience while maximizing the views. The remodelled flooring comprising of light grey ceramic tiles in large format gives a sense of continuity.

Green onyx lines the floors and walls of this fashion boutique in Rome by creative duo Giada Forte and Robert Vattilana. The Forte Forte store is located on Via Borgognona, a street in the heart of the Campo Marzio – the 4th rione, or district, of Rome – that was once full of artists. An onyx door sits within a brass wall.

This piazza-like space is lined with lights and arches that recall traditional Apulian architecture. The Apulian landscape – which is characterised by farms, olive trees and a particular warm light – is conveyed through the soft colour choices and tactile materials that create a relaxed mood.
