These include a 12-foot version of the Bala Beam weight propped against a mirrored wall and an oversized ankle weight forming a squishy leather seat. Each trunk is reimagined and personalized through unique mixed media applications from paint on canvas and video to sculpture, collage and light. The highlight of the next room is the felt paintings of artist Zhang Yunyao. Gehry’s reimagined trunk is appropriately celebrated in its own room.

In March, a concept car called the Porsche Vision ‘Renndienst’ will be shown on Level 1, and an art car from French-Vietnamese artist Cyril Kongo will feature on Level 2. It also has a built-in car lift, which can be decorated for brand campaigns. Interestingly, the studio has integrated a delivery experience like no other.

Further up on the rooftop terrace, Brooklyn-based artist Edward Granger has been commissioned to create a “multi-faceted, custom ceiling mural”, which can be found underneath the canopy. The main feature of the space is the industrial fibreglass and cement grates which form Edition’s shelving and table centre pieces.
