Lighting strips were added to the panels at various intervals throughout the store and reference the multiple lines of the signature check. A classic black-and-white checkered tile covers multiple areas of the interior, zoning numerous different spaces including ready-to-wear and accessory sections.

Located within a Grade II-listed Edwardian building on New Bond Street – a luxury shopping destination in the city's West End – the new flagship store has a floor area of 466 square metres dedicated to men's and women's accessories, ready-to-wear and fragrance collections. It was designed by creative director Hedi Slimane.

Located at 22 Bruton Street, the boutique is laid out across 190-square-metres and displays Maison Margiela's Co-Ed collections , with men's and women's ready-to-wear alongside accessories such as shoes, jewellery and eyewear. The walls and columns are turned inside out – we look at the lining, the interior of the wall.".

Located downtown, a few blocks from the White House, the boutique is lined with white-painted maple panels arranged to look like fabric pleats. White-painted wood panels form pleats across the walls and ceiling. Influenced by the work of Italian artist Bruno Munari , the taut wires form subtle lines across the pleated panels.

Panels of fluted glass form a screen around the edge of the store. The urban materiality of the store is interrupted by a couple of ceramic display stands, which Linehouse formed by wrapping convex tiles around steel poles that extend from the floor to the ceiling. they have the qualities of the handmade; variation and contrast.".
