French shoe brand Nodaleto has chosen Miami as the location of its first US store, which New York studio Rafael de Cárdenas designed with sci-fi-influenced red and chrome interiors. Rafael de Cárdenas based the interior on mid-century French design, as a homage to the influence this movement had on sets created for sci-fi movies.

The spaces are refined and have a really calming energy, and luxury feel to it. Bec + Bridge was founded by Bec Cooper and Bridget Yorston in 2001.

Paritzki & Liani Architects has created a minimal interior for a boutique on the Italian island of Ischia, filled with references to local architecture and volcanic geology. Vaulted ceilings and arched doorways divide the space. Grifo210's interior is divided up into three bays, framed by the arched doorway and ceilings.

American fashion label Thom Browne has opened its first retail location in San Francisco , designed by ASA Studio Albanese to feature dramatic marble against white slatted blinds. Like its counterparts around the world, the 1,250-square-foot (116-square-metre) space is outfitted to look like a Mad Men-era workplace.
