Red was also applied selectively to interior elements, including a statement spiral staircase and a wall behind at the back of the store. The store's focal point is a red lacquered-metal spiral staircase The helical lacquered-metal form has solid balustrades and steps with a diamond-plate texture for added grip.

British architecture studio Al-Jawad Pike has used colourful marble for the interiors of trainer brand Athletic Propulsion Labs’ second flagship store in Soho, New York City. The textured display plinths were developed with a bespoke fabricator based in New York, who CNC-carved the forms. The photography is by Ståle Eriksen.

A pink furry fashion boutique, a cosmetics store styled like a 1970s office and a streetwear outlet adorned with a chandelier of Nike trainers feature in this roundup of weird and wonderful retail interiors. A large Klein-blue rock sculpture covered in non-reflective paint provides the focal point and adds to the interior's dreamlike feel.

The store features curved interiors. The interior, designed by Liang Architecture Studio , follows the theme of "retro-futurism" – a movement that celebrates depictions of the future produced in an earlier era. The micro-cement structures form the walls, ceilings and displays, pairing graceful curves with sharp geometric elements.
