The couple desired a modern makeover infused with warmth and personality, an overhaul that would transform the villa into a cosy family home, a welcoming space to entertain guests and a place to house their eclectic art collection acquired during their time in the Far East.

Each design detail, from the intricate gold-leaf overlay on the wooden walls to the bespoke furniture and carefully curated colour palette, reflects a commitment to creating a space that transcends expectations. The ceiling features intriguing wallpaper cladding, giving the space a contemporary and creative feel.

The london-based architectural and design studio Koto has partnered with garden designer Tony Woods from Garden Club London to create a tranquil and sensory indoor and outdoor space to relax and unwind at the 2022 RHS Chelsea Flower Show. The furniture is accompanied by a wood-burning stove by Morsoe.

The hotel’s sophisticated interiors have been designed and executed by the famed Parisian duo, Gilles & Boissier and incorporate a carefully curated section of more than 50 art pieces, commissioned by local and global artists. The Lana will also be home to the first Dior Spa in the UAE, set to open in April 2024.
