Our first lookbook of 2023 collects 10 pop-up shop interiors from around the world, from a swimming-pool-style store by fashion brand Jacquemus to a playful supermarket stocked with groceries made of felt. The concise and clean layers with dynamic lighting effects emerge from the lively streets as a pure and dazzling scenery of Myeongdong. The color combination of blue and red of the interior recalls the fitting rooms in a stadium. The water fountain incorporated here is a gesture of sustainability and user-friendly design.

Set across three floors, the XC273 retail space houses designer showrooms and pop-ups alongside a small cafe, as well as providing spaces for temporary exhibitions and events. The building is organised around three voids, which now form the basis of the store's circulation routes.

To balance the dark colours and textures of the flooring the studio has inserted pops of colour using light blue tiles on the changing room pods and blue and green counter surfaces. Flagship is immediately domesticated and activated into a stage for events, with a light touch of living room like domesticity and comfort.".

The store’s interiors and wall panels are made from handmade organic materials such as recycled foams and papier-mache. Biodegradable mannequins are also present in the store and the air conditioning system uses nano carbon technology to ensure clean air circulation. Repurposed Space. Energy Efficient.
