De Cárdenas worked with Angelo Baque, the former brand director of streetwear brand Supreme , on the design of a retail location for Awake NY , which Baque founded in 2012. At the back of the boutique, the walls are covered in a checkerboard pattern that is repeated on a display stand closer to the centre.

In 2012 Fraser became the president of Marc Jacobs after over 13 years in the business before leaving to become the CEO of Anne Klein in 2015. With this, we are reintroducing our Spade Flower signature pattern within leather goods in our Spade Flower Jacquard collection.

Over 13,000 flattened aluminium cans decorate the facade of Dutch fashion label Daily Paper's inaugural shop in the US, which has opened in Manhattan, New York. The cans are then arranged in an intricate lattice pattern that's meant to recall traditional East and South African beadwork. Photography is by Alec Kugler.

Melbourne-based gumboot label Merry People was born in 2012 after founder Danielle Holloway found the that she couldn’t find a pair of gumboots suitable to her needs. I showed it to some retailers that I shop with, and a couple said they would sell it. We did a patterned boot with Obus that sold out within a week.
