Created in 2002 at the initiative of the City of Lyon (France), LUCI is a non-profit organization bringing together over 70 member towns and cities worldwide that use light as a tool for social, cultural and economic development.

Bronwasser was also the ambassador for Dutch Design Week 2012, and in 2018 he designed and curated the Partner Country Presentation at Ambiente in Frankfurt.
