Welsh-based retailer Peter Robinson is this week enjoying not just one re-fitted store but three after he finished refurbishing them all on the same day.

Robinson launched the new-look One Stop stores in East End Square, Pembroke; Albion Square, Pembroke Dock; and Charles Street, Milford Haven.

The East End Square store has been in Robinson’s family for more than 50 years, the others he has acquired more recently, but all three re-fits took place simultaneously.

Robinson spent a total of £500,000 on the re-fits, with the scale of transformation varying in each store and One Stop making a £150,000 contribution to the costs.

Robinson owns five stores in Pembrokeshire in total and decided to join One Stop after meeting an enthusiastic franchise holder at a London awards ceremony.

Robinson said: “Sundher Sandher was telling me how much difference One Stop had made to his business in the West Midlands. I was looking for new possibilities and decided to investigate further.”

The new look stores launched last Friday (9 July).
