Mondelēz International is set to launch Cadbury Caramilk, a caramelized white chocolate, as caramel is ranked the second most popular flavour in chocolate confectionery.

The variant will be available from early July in 80g tablets (£1) and 37g single bars (69p), as well as price-marked formats, supported by PR, social media, in-store activity and POS materials.

Mondelēz said the launch will help retailers recruit new shoppers to the range, particularly millennials and young families who are seeking sweeter tastes.

Beatrice Berutti, brand manager at Mondelēz International, said: “Known to be a much-loved classic chocolate in Australia, Cadbury Caramilk is sure to be a hit in the growing Chocolate market.

“In fact, Mondelez tablets are currently experiencing growth of 10%, with the new launch sure to build on this, adding excitement to retailer’s ranges with a delicious new flavour.”
