Breakfast cereals are also on offer and all the deals are being advertised locally and on social media.

Nisa’s promotions manager, Lisa O’Hearne, said: “Research reveals that more than 75% of shoppers are buying a combination of fresh and chilled products to fulfil the lunchtime meal solution.

“With this promotion, our partners are well equipped to support parents in delivering a varied and healthy school pack-up.”

The promotion lasts until 21 September.
