Consumers have reportedly been travelling for miles to purchase bottles of Prime Hydration the popular drink created by the seemingly ubiquitous YouTubers KSI and Logan Paul, who dabble in sports, before they sell out.

Pinkie Farm convenience store in Scotland was able to stock the in-demand product on Friday due to being supplied by Spar, one of the few retailers currently stocking the drink.

The drink has been selling out quickly in supermarkets across the UK and the Musselburgh c-store has experienced the consumer clamour for the product.

Dan Brown, managing director at Pinkie Farm, said: “It was crazy. We had 80 crates of 12 drinks sell out in about 35 minutes, there was a queue right down the street for it.

“We limited it to one of each flavour of the drink per customer too so nobody could buy more than five bottles at a time.

“It felt a bit like Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory with the golden tickets with how many people were queuing up.”

Some members of the public are rumoured to have paid up to £100 for a bottle but Brown said that Pinkie Farm on Musselburgh’s Moray Way is one of the only local shops to be supplied by Spar meaning it could afford to sell the drink at the retail price of £2 a bottle.
