Online grocery shopping has remained 35% above pre-Covid levels, says a new survey.

Data from digital intelligence platform Similarweb added that the most successful supermarkets at converting those who visit their websites into paying customers were Tesco and Sainsbury’s.

Even so, traffic measured by page views to the top 10 supermarket websites is 35% down on November 2020, when there was a resurgence in Covid-19 cases.

Similarweb said traffic to the sites tends to increase when concern about Covid-19 grows and decrease when it falls.
