Fatherson Bakery produces special Valentine’s range

Fatherson Bakery, which supplies a wide range of products to convenience stores, is producing three special cakes for Valentine’s Day.

The fairy cakes (RRP £2.50 for six), large cupcakes (RRP £4 for two) and chocolate heart sharing cake (RRP £5) will be available from early February.

Stores supplied by Fatherson include the Co-op, Budgens, Spar, SimplyFresh, Nisa, Londis and hundreds of non-affiliated retailers.

Laurence Smith, Fatherson’s owner, said: “All our Valentine cakes and, in fact, everything we bake at Fatherson use only quality, locally sourced British ingredients.

“Plus, we make in small batches, using fresh ingredients to replicate the same baking practices used in the home kitchen.

“That’s why with the Valentine Range we can guarantee ‘baking’ freshness for 14 days.”
