Thatchers Blood Orange will come in a 500ml bottle and a 440m can and is aiming to attract younger cider drinkers.

Thatchers says research has indicated that 95% of 18- to 39-year-old-cider drinkers like the idea of new flavours in fruit.

The latest addition to the Thatchers range is made with Braeburn, Fuji and Gala apples and will start to appear in stores in February.

Thatchers has already entered the fruit cider category with its Cloudy Lemon version and now wants to increase the variety of its range.

Thatchers Blood Orange Cider 500ml bottle has an RRP of £2.30 and the can four-pack has an RRP of £5.50.
