Hovis, the iconic 136-year-old British bakery brand, is expanding its Hovis Bakers Since 1886 range into part-baked bread, with an initial range of three products.

The range includes rustic white and seeded rolls and white baguettes. Each recipe has been expertly created, prepared and part-baked ready to be finished off at home in the oven.

Baked in just ten minutes, Hovis Bakers Since 1886 Home Bakes ensure that everyone can now enjoy the aroma and taste of warm Hovis bread in the comfort of their own home.

With significantly longer shelf life than your usual rolls/baguettes, the Hovis Bakers Since 1886 Home Bakes can be stored alongside other groceries so are readily available but reduce the risk of food waste.

Launching in time to accompany warm winter soups, to partner a dinner, or simply for some lunchtime variety, the Hovis Bakers Since 1886 Home Bakes range has been specially created to deliver a crisp crust and a deliciously soft texture inside, bringing the aroma and flavour that consumers associate with “bakery fresh” bread straight from the oven.

Hovis said the new range ensures maximum taste and texture with minimal effort and with no artificial preservatives.

With only 47% of shoppers currently buying bake at home bread, Hovis said there is a real gap in the market and significant opportunity for the trusted brand to reach a wider audience and further grow the overall segment.

The Hovis Bakers Since 1886 range was launched in 2021 and already includes: 3 half cob loaves (white, seeded and granary), premium burger buns, premium hot dog rolls, cheese topped rolls, seeded deli rolls, crumpets, premium tea cakes and muffins.
