The family-run convenience store and petrol station is owned by John Tinnell and his family, who have traded the current store for more than 50 years.
The outlet will become a Spar Fresh store later this year, with the sales floor increasing from 900sq ft to 3,352sq ft.
Henderson Group said: “The new store will offer an extensive fresh range of products including fruit and veg, ‘take-home’ meal solutions and dairy.”
“The store is already a well-known destination for its hot food/deli offering and has a great reputation for its quality offering. This will be further enhanced with a larger area dedicated to the serving of the hot food/deli, an extended product range, new equipment, and a dedicated kitchen for preparation of quality food.”
