F’real unveils Salted Caramel milkshake flavour

Self-serve milkshake brand F’real has added a Salted Caramel flavour to its portfolio.

The flavour is made with thick cream and caramel pieces and will be available from 31 May, supported by a marketing and social media campaign and digital POS and assets for retailers.

The brand said the flavour is especially popular in the UK, with the caramel ingredients predicted to grow 7% between 2019 and 2021.

The brand said it has experienced phenomenal growth in convenience stores since launching in 2018 and in 2020, the brand saw a 12% increase in sales of milkshakes and smoothies, driven by footfall increases and shoppers looking for more “indulgent treating options”.
