Cake range launches into Scotmid stores

Glasgow-based bakery company Cake has launched its new Cakely Co range into all Scotmid stores, following an initial launch in April.

The range includes large cakes slices (£3.99) in Millionaires Cake, Frazzle Dazzle, Chocolate Madness, Toffee Caramel Chaos, small cake slices (£2.99) in Marbelous Cake, Millionaire Brownie, Tease Me Brownie and Sticky Toffee Cake, and Cake Jars (£3.99) in The Millionaires Feast, Shortcake Stack, Go Nuts with Nutella, Bisc Off Cake with Lotus Biscuits and Jammy Heart.

Lauren Ingram, bakery manager and Cake, said: “We know there is a real appetite for indulgent treats, particularly those with recognisable ingredients, such as Biscoff, Nutella and Jammy Dodgers.

“We are delighted that they are flying off the shelves as they combine bright and colourful packaging which immediately attracts customer attention, with the amazing taste that comes from being hand made with locally-sourced ingredients.

“We will be adding new products to the range each month to ensure there is always a reason for customers to come back for more.”
