New £1 PMP packs for Jacob’s Mini Cheddars Sticks

Global snacking giant Pladis is adding two flavours of Jacob’s Mini Cheddars Sticks to its £1 price-marked pack (PMP) range.

The change is intended to help retailers drive sales of the snack.

Jacob’s Mini Cheddars Sticks Grilled Cheddar and Sizzling Steak (75g) are now available in a £1 PMP across wholesale and convenience.

Christopher Owen, marketing controller at Pladis UK & Ireland, said: “This reflects the important role we know PMPs play in driving impulse sales in the convenience channel.

“In fact, products in this format already represent a mammoth three-quarters of sales in the channel, despite accounting for only 12% of SKUs.”
