Aperol has launched a new, portable Aperol Spritz Kit onto the UK market.

The kit features a smaller 350ml bottle of Aperol and 375ml Cinzano Prosecco to cater for shoppers looking to enjoy an Aperol Spritz on-the-go.

Brand owner Campari UK says the Aperol Spritz Kit is an ideal way to introduce new customers to the UK’s best-selling branded cocktail, with a lower price-point than full-size bottle purchases.

It has also been designed for flexible merchandising in-store.

Sandra Brunet, marketing director at Campari Group UK, said: “With only three ingredients and using the official 3:2:1 recipe displayed on the pack, consumers will be able to prepare their drinks in just a few minutes – seamlessly demonstrating the ease-of-serve to the third of shoppers who believe it is too much effort to create cocktails at home.

“While the Aperol Spritz Kit carries a lower price-point, it has been shown to help drive up the average basket spend of convenience shoppers.”

She suggests merchandising the kits alongside Italian-style snacks such as olives, cured hams and cheese.

The Aperol Spritz Kit comes with an RRP of £16, with each kit allowing shoppers to make four to five cocktails.
