Mars expands whey protein range with M&M’s variant

The 875g variant retails at £19.99 and contains 21g protein and 141 calories per serving.

The UK has the largest share of the Europe whey protein market, said Mars, with a predicted growth of 4%, and introducing the most popular Mars brands to the market has “played a key part in attracting new customers looking for everyday brand familiarity, and trusted taste in protein products”.

Michelle Frost, general manager at Mars Chocolate Drinks & Treats, said: “The launch of M&M’s Hi Protein Chocolate and M&M’s Hi Protein Chocolate Peanut bars last year were one of our most successful launches to date within our protein product portfolio, and we recognise there is a huge appeal for the M&M’s brand within this market.”
