The “Michelin Star Picnic” will see one shopper and five guests win a picnic prepared by Michelin Starred chef James Knappett at The Kitchen Table restaurant, consisting of “a selection of culinary treats and picnic basket classics” and two bespoke dishes created by Knappett.

There are also several instant win prizes, including a picnic hamper with six bottles of Aspall Cyder, including its Premier Cru cyder and a luxury picnic blanket.

Shoppers can enter via neck collars on promotional Aspall Premier Cru, Draught and Organic Cyder bottles.

The competition is running until 16 August and is supported by a social media campaign and POS material.

Phil Pick, marketing controller for cider at brand owner Molson Coors Beverage Company, said: “With sunny days out with friends and family back on the cards this summer after many months apart, we wanted to give consumers a chance to win something truly special to share with those close to them.

“At our Michelin Star Picnic, one lucky winner and their friends will be able to rollout their picnic blankets and crack open some refreshing Aspall Cyder to accompany a luxurious dining experience like no other.

“Throughout the coming weeks, we will be drumming up excitement to help retailers make the most of this exciting competition with social media activity and eye-catching POS material to help raise awareness of the competition and the great prizes up for grabs.”
