Nisa offers bargain freezer deal for most of November

The symbol group said it wanted to give retailers the chance to offer the deal in order to give good value as customers try to save money to budget for Christmas.

The freezer deal includes a Birds Eye Chicken Dippers 22pk, a Goodfella’s Garlic Bread 218g, McCain Crispy French Fries 750g, Co-op Battered Onion Rings 454g and a Cadbury Dairy Milk Tub 480ml, all for just £5; a saving of £8.42 on the recommended retail price.

Lara O’Hearne, Nisa’s promotions manager, said: “Having now passed Halloween and Bonfire Night most consumers will be focused on the Christmas period and therefore the purse strings will naturally start to tighten in preparation for an expensive December.

“So, at a time where value really is key, the latest five pound deal is sure to delight those on the hunt for an easy evening meal this month.

“Research has revealed that over half of shoppers are purchasing their meal for tonight on impulse so by placing this great value deal in a high footfall area of their store we’re confident our partners will see an increase in basket spend this month.”

The promotion is available in stores now and will run until Tuesday 23 November.
