Nisa Express plans surge in new openings in 2022

Nisa has confirmed plans to increase the number of its Nisa Express format stores to 50 by the end of 2022.

The group had 10 Nisa Express stores going into the year and plans to add 40 more.

Nisa Express was first introduced at the Nisa virtual Expo in October 2020.

The format is designed for stores below 1,000sq ft and has three styles: food-centric, forecourt and essentials.

Nisa Express is intended to fill a small store requirement that Nisa did not previously offer .

A Nisa spokesperson said the Express format was available to all partners interested in opening stores below the 1,000sq ft mark.
