The Haverstock Hill outlet is the 14th Nisa operated by the Hussain family’s LA Food group, which runs Nisa stores all over London.

Tabrez Hussain said: “We’re thrilled to be adding a 14th store to our remit, and to learn the store is such a huge landmark for Nisa just adds to the excitement.”

The new shop employs 12 staff and opens from 8am to 11pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 10.30pm on Sundays.

Store development manager at Nisa, Derek Saunders, said: “The store has a modern finish with a real future-forward vibe, while retaining the unique charm of the building.

“Multiple tree-bark-effect pillars and deep Artex canopies, along with brick-effect walls, create a welcoming store that offers a shopper experience that is completely different from any other store in the area.”
