Polo launches on-pack competition for convenience shoppers

Mint brand Polo is launching an on-pack competition offering shoppers the chance to win outdoor experiences, as part of a wider brand campaign.

The “Win a Hole New Summer Experience’” competition is giving shoppers the chance to win a £200 Virgin Experience Day e-voucher, which can be used on a selection of outdoor activities and experiences such as cycling, paddle boarding and Segway tours.

The promotion will run from 1 July to 27 August across single packs of all Polo flavours, including Polo Original, Polo Sugar Free and Polo Fruits.

Shoppers can enter texting POLO and the last 4 digits of their barcode to a promotional number.

High impact point of sale materials will be used throughout the wholesale and convenience channel to support the competition.

The brand is also investing £750,000 in a media campaign over the summer to “drive visibility and make mints front-of-mind”.
