Growing up in a traditional Italian family Tony learned family values, an excellent work ethic, a love of ethnic food, a sense of humor and his love of family. He remained close with many Warren-Mott High School friends. After marrying Jean on May 14, 1983 they lived in Chicago, IL, St.Louis, MO and Troy, MI prior to settling in Washington Township.

His creative side was cultivated in his choice of profession. He worked for over 40 years in the commercial interior design industry as a brand strategist.

Tony’s passion was music! Tony shared his soothing, soul searching spiritual voice for over 20 years in area Unity Churches. With his velvety, soulful style he kept the classics alive as he performed all over the Detroit Metro Area in jazz clubs, churches, choir halls and in Christmas Programs. Much of his work included covers from the likes of Tony Bennet, Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra and other jazz legends. Some of his original work can be found on YouTube. Many of his dear friends are artists he performed with over the years.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 20th, from 11am until 2pm. at Wujek – Calcaterra & Sons Inc., (Shelby) 54880 Van Dyke at 25 Mile Rd. A 2:00pm Memorial Service presided by Ric Beatie will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Tony’s honor to The Make-A-Wish Foundation or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Please share memories with the family at their online guestbook @ WujekCalcaterra.com
