How to innovate a product category like coat hangers? Meet Angie Wall

Toscanini presents Angie Wall brilliantly designed by Giulio Iacchetti – an innovative wall hanging system for clothes and accessories.

Bringing a wealth of experience spanning a century in the art of hanging, Toscanini introduced the Angie Wall wall-mounted system, envisioned by designer Giulio Iacchetti.

Some products may seem to lack the need for specific innovations, either because it’s challenging to envision them or because we’ve grown so accustomed to their existing forms that we overlook their potential utility. However, even in seemingly straightforward categories like coat hooks, innovative solutions emerge.

“This was conceived by the creative genius of Iacchetti as a way to differently imagine the idea of a hanger – an object strongly rooted in our collective imagination, so formally resolved and so immediate in its simple function of use” says Toscanini.

A beautiful piece of furniture even when not utilized – its clean elegant lines and contemporary glamor combined with functionality, harmoniously adapts to any environment. Skillfully crafted in warm beechwood with a minimalistic aesthetic, modularity and surprising magnetic hook – this extraordinary smart product is perfect for the common spaces of homes, offices as well as restaurants.

Lending a stunning graphic effect on the wall, it’s seamlessly equipped with a hidden magnet that allows one to effortlessly detach the hanger from the hook. A movement as simple as it is ingenious – the hook remains connected to the rod, making it highly practical and easy to use.

“We have carefully selected the highest quality magnets and tested them, in order to guarantee a resistant support for your clothes” Toscanini adds.

Toscani: a century-long voyage

Toscanini’s company was established a century ago, in 1920, in Valsesia, where the Toscanini family, originating from the Apennines of Piacenza, had set down roots since the early 1900s. Between the founding of their first sawmill by their great-grandfather and their current specialization in crafting coat hangers and hanging systems, an entire narrative has unfolded.

It’s a tale defined by individuals such as Ettore Toscanini who were steadfast in their commitment to continual growth and enhancement, fueled by creativity, perseverance, and a hint of visionary insight.

Inspired by this legacy, Toscanini conceives and produces their wooden and plexiglass coat hangers, along with items for displaying clothing in boutiques or organizing home wardrobes. Their aim is to envision them as unique, aesthetically pleasing, functional, and most importantly, tailored to meet the needs of those who will use them.
