Footwear brand Teva has launched Pride Sandals 2022 in collaboration with Australia’s national Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander non-profit, Black Rainbow.

Under the partnership, an Outdoor Fund initiative will also donate $5000 directly to three LGBTQIA+SB individuals who will directly benefit from the support in order to excel in outdoor fields such as sports, outdoor teachings and environmental regeneration. 

The Outdoor Fund applications will be open to eligible applicants in early June.

Dameyon Bonson, founder of Black Rainbow welcomed the opportunity to work with Teva. “We hope that through this partnership it encourages Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders … of the rainbow community to embrace their adventurous spirit and get on out there and enjoy the great outdoors across our many nations.”

The collaboration features three new styles for all genders with vibrant colours capturing the spirit of equality and diversity. The range is available online from the Teva store and from specialty retailers.
