Next generation delivery management platform, Scurri, whose retail and brand partners include Vision Direct, Biscuiteers and Natural Baby Shower, today announced two new strategic appointments as it continues to scale growth in the United Kingdom.

Following its launch in 2010, Scurri has grown to a business that processed over €10bn worth of global shipments in 2022, with €15.3million investment raised to date from private angel investors, institutional VC investors and the Irish Government development fund, Enterprise Ireland.

Matthew Hunt joins the Scurri team in the role of Demand Generation Manager, while Philip Sambrook brings a wealth of experience in new business development and sales to his role as Senior Enterprise Sales Director at Scurri.

These hires underpin a continued focus on investment and expansion in the United Kingdom, where Scurri currently derives over 60% of its revenue working with over 1,000 carrier services to provide 97% carrier coverage across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Scurri’s ongoing commitment to delivering technological innovation and exceptional customer service – the business has an Industry leading Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) score of 94% and a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of +82 – has driven strong European growth with success in Germany and plans to expand further in the region with a push into the Nordics.

Philip Sambrook brings a wealth of experience in new business development and sales to his role as Senior Enterprise Sales Director at Scurri.  He has a track record of demonstrated success in formulating and implementing sales strategy that improves profitability, strengthens relationships and absorbs new market share at companies including Yodel, Brightstar and Data Select.

Additionally, Matthew Hunt joins the Scurri team in the role of Demand Generation Manager.  With over 10 years of marketing experience across UK & Europe, Matthew brings expertise in demand generation and end-to-end marketing strategies, having previously held senior marketing roles at Corinium Global Intelligence and Digital Marketing World Forum.

These two new hires join UK based Adam Lissman, who joined Scurri as Sales Revenue Operations Manager in late 2022.  Adam has nearly two decades of experience in managing multi-region technical, analytical and data teams and joined Scurri from Sungard Availability Services after 16 years of progressive responsibility culminating in his former role as Director of Global Sales Operations.

In addition to the growing UK team, working from its London office, Scurri has also recently moved into a new tech HQ in Wexford, Ireland to accommodate current and future growth.
