Restaurant chain Slim’s Quality Burger is set to expand into Queensland with the opening of two new stores in September.

The eatery takes inspiration from vintage American-style diners and sells made-to-order American-style beef, chicken and vegetarian burgers along with fresh-cut fries, milkshakes and chicken tenders.

The Queensland stores – located in Kippa-Ring and Slacks Creek – will serve an expanded breakfast menu along with the classics in a new drive-in setting.

Breakfast items include a full coffee menu along with bacon, eggs, fresh orange juice, chia pudding and cheese.

The new locations will boast an open kitchen with vibrant retro decor, cherry-red banquettes, vintage light fixtures and neon signage. A QR-code ordering system will be followed allowing customers to order from their cars.

Nik Rollison, co-founder of Slim’s Quality Burger, said the opening of the Queensland stores marks the “beginning of a new chapter” in the brand’s expansion journey.

“Our Queensland locations have been purposely designed to allow for nose-in parking around the restaurant, reminiscent of an American diner, complete with a view into our open kitchens.”
