Australian interior brand En Gold is expanding its retail footprint with the first brick-and-mortar location in Armadale.

The company, which recently celebrated its fifth anniversary, is due to unveil the store on September 21. Located on High Street, it is the company’s first foray into brick-and-mortar retailing after beginning as an e-commerce, direct-to-consumer business.

The space is being conceptualised by En Gold co-founder, Steffanie Ball, who describes the aesthetic as “organic, Wabi-Sabi and earthy”. According to the brand, customers and design enthusiasts can learn about the craftsmanship and story behind En Gold’s furniture collection at the store, which is a combination of contemporary and nostalgic styles.

“The space is a calming oasis, the perfect canvas to showcase the En Gold furniture and homewares,” says Ball.

“Staying true to the En Gold brand, the overall intention was to create a creamy and soothing atmosphere that works harmoniously with the En Gold Range”.

The flagship store will feature En Gold’s homewares collection, resident artwork, and YOLI towels and body care products. En Gold has also transferred its headquarters to the Philippine island of Cebu, following its success in Australia.

Founded by husband-and-wife design team Steffanie and Matt Ball (a former professional skateboarder), the company develops “heirlooms for your home” with pieces handcrafted by a team of more than 130 artisans in the Philippines.
