Forme Spa, New Zealand’s largest day spa group, has been bought by Endota, Australia’s largest spa and wellbeing network.

Frome Spa has nine locations – in Albany, Takapuna, Mt Eden, Parnell, Ponsonby, Wellington, Christchurch, Queenstown and Hamilton – and will take Endota’s network to 120.

Both companies have 20 years of experience in the wellness sector and claim ‘household name’ status in their respective countries.

Melanie Gleeson, founder and CEO of Endota, says the company will combine its resources with Forme Spa “to build new communities of people committed to experiencing wellbeing by Endota”.

“This acquisition is the natural evolution of our founding vision – to help women feel well – and I am proud and excited to grow this commitment on a larger scale, reinforcing our position as an industry leader,” she said.

Forme Spa founder and CEO Hady Olt added: “Endota’s position in the Australian wellbeing market and commitment to clean beauty aligns beautifully with our own values. We are proud of our heritage as a New Zealand-based wellbeing brand and are thrilled to take the next step in our journey to improve the wellbeing of others.”
