Gaggenau has opened its first Sydney flagship covering 260sqm on Crown Street in Surry Hills.

Gaggenau Sydney features a range of products including the 400 series cooktops, ovens and wine cabinets.

The store, designed by Munich-based studio 1ZU33, takes inspiration from the brand’s relationship with the culinary arts and the hospitality landscape that defines the inner-city suburb.

The expansive floor-to-ceiling glass doors open up to a private courtyard, allowing visitors to relax and enjoy the showroom experience in style.

With the new flagship, the brand said it targets the luxury consumer market and design-minded customers.

“Gaggenau Sydney signifies the expansive global reach of our ethos. The new space further grounds Gaggenau as an industry leader within the Sydney community, engaging architects, designers, enthusiasts and distinguished identities alike,” said Andrew Jones, CEO of Australia and New Zealand for Gaggenau.

Founded in 1683, the German brand is now represented in more than 50 countries worldwide, with 21 flagship showrooms in major cities and key production facilities in Germany, France, Spain and Turkey.
