Online luxury retailer Farfetch (London) will purchase beauty retailer Violet Grey, according to Reuters. The move expands Farfetch’s reach into the cosmetics business.

“We’ve been thinking about beauty for a long time,” Stephanie Phair, chief customer officer of Farfetch, told Reuters.

Farfetch plans to introduce beauty products on its online marketplace this year.
