Café and lifestyle brand, EL&N Café, is set to open its doors at Bullring, marking its Midlands debut in the UK. The addition of EL&N supports Hammerson’s initiative to revitalize its assets and bring in more dining and restaurant options to Birmingham’s retail and leisure destination.

EL&N Café, famously dubbed as “the most instagrammable café in the world”, has secured almost 8,000 sq ft of space on the bustling New Street, adjacent to Zara, and will offer an expansive 20m double-height frontage. The brand’s signature intricate floral displays and pink decor, which have captivated social media audiences worldwide, will feature prominently in the lavish Birmingham cafe.

The cafe’s curation of its food and drink menu, including iconic Afternoon Tea and classic all-day brunch selections, crafted patisserie from its in-house pastry team, has attracted customers worldwide, making it an exciting addition to the Birmingham food scene.

Toby Tait, Director of Asset Management at Hammerson, expressed enthusiasm for the new partnership, stating that “EL&N Café will bring something new and exciting to the destination, and their selection of Bullring for a regional debut location is a clear sign of their confidence in Bullring and Birmingham more generally.” The cafe’s unique atmosphere is expected to appeal to the youngest city in Europe, making it a promising addition to Hammerson’s portfolio.

Alexandra Miller, Founder of EL&N Café, was equally excited about the new venture, stating that “opening a space in a renowned destination like Bullring is reminiscent of my goal to provide consumers with a memory that could last forever.” She expressed delight in bringing the EL&N experience to a new demographic of customers in Birmingham.

The Midlands debut of EL&N Café follows Hammerson’s recent transformative plans to repurpose the former department store at Grand Central into modern, well-being designed offices.
