Hoka One One (Goleta, Calif.) has opened two pop-up stores that will be in operation through December in New York and Los Angeles, Footwear News reports. The New York location is set at 2000 square feet in the Flatiron District, and the Los Angeles locale spans 1000 square feet in West Hollywood. Both locations feature smart lockers, Hoka apparel and 3-D foot scanning devices.

Norma Delaney, Hoka’s VP of Global Brand Marketing, also said the spaces could host events, offer programming and showcase Hoka’s range of offerings.

Delaney says, according to Footwear News, “Retail is an important component of our marketplace strategy; however, it does not replace wholesale or e-comm, it enhances it. Brands win by being responsive to consumer needs across platforms, making each interaction seamless and meaningful. Each interaction should be a peak expression of the brand.”

Hoka recently had a strong quarter, seeing its net sales increase 95.5 percent to $213.1 million.
